Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Billing and Trek to Rajagunda
Arrive in Billing, the famous paragliding destination.
Start your trek to Rajagunda, a quaint hamlet surrounded by majestic mountains.
Overnight stay in a campsite or local homestay.
Day 2: Rajagunda to Barot via Slater Pass (13 km)
Begin the trek southwards along the Uhl River on its right bank.
Pass through the picturesque hamlets of Rowling, Kothikod, and Baragram, known for their vegetable farming.
Descend to Mayot, 6 km from Slater Pass, and marvel at splendid cedar wood houses.
Continue trekking for 7 km along the shaded trails of Alnus, willow, and pine trees to reach Barot.
Overnight stay in Barot at a guesthouse or rest house.
Day 3: Explore Barot and Surroundings
Visit the historic Shanan Hydel Project, North India's first hydel project built in the 1930s.
Explore the trout hatchery and enjoy the serene environment where the Lambadug meets the Uhl River.
Spend the day exploring Barot's natural beauty or relaxing by the riverside.
Overnight stay in Barot.
Day 4: Optional Extension to Lambadug Valley and Sari Pass (3100 m)
