Tour Itinerary
 
Day 1: Arrival at Naggar, Transfer to Rumsu
Arrive in Naggar, a beautiful town on the left bank of the Beas River. After a brief rest, head to Rumsu (6 km from Naggar), the starting point of the Chandrakhani Pass trek. Take time to explore the surroundings and enjoy the picturesque landscapes. Night stay in Rumsu.
 
Day 2: Rumsu to Chaklani (8 km Trek)
Begin the trek from Rumsu, ascending through dense forests of cedar, spruce, and oak. As you climb higher, pass through the scenic hamlets of Stellag and Dhan Karari thatches. The view of the Pir Panjal range to the north is breathtaking. Reach Chaklani (3,300 meters), located just below the Chandrakhani Pass. Set up camp for the night at Chaklani, surrounded by the serene beauty of the mountains.
 
Day 3: Chaklani to Malana via Chandrakhani Pass (10 km Trek)
After breakfast, trek toward the stunning Chandrakhani Pass (3,500 meters). The pass is adorned with wide, snow-covered slopes and a lush carpet of birch, spruce, and bhojpatra. Upon crossing the pass, descend into the Malana Valley, a culturally significant region ruled by the deity Jamlu Devta. The trek takes you down 6,000 feet to Malana Village, renowned for its unique customs, architecture, and one of the oldest democratic systems in the world. Camp beyond the Malana stream for the night.
 
Day 4: Malana to Rasol Village via Rasol Pass (18 km Trek)
The trek today involves crossing the Rasol Pass (3,200 meters), which divides the Malana Valley from the Parbati Valley. Enjoy the stupendous views of the Malana Glacier and high alpine pastures along the way. After the pass, make a steep descent to Rasol Village, a serene hamlet known for its tranquil environment. Stay overnight at Rasol.
 
Day 5: Rasol to Chalal to Kasol (10 km Trek)
Trek from Rasol to Chalal, a larger village on the right bank of the Parbati River, which is popular with European travelers. Chalal is filled with cafés serving Italian, French, and Israeli cuisine, creating a vibrant and international atmosphere. Continue with a delightful 2 km walk along the banks of the foaming Parbati River and cross over to the left bank to reach Kasol Village. Kasol is a popular destination with various accommodations, including forest rest houses, HPTDC hotels, and private guesthouses. Stay overnight in Kasol.
 
Day 6: Kasol to Bhuntar/Kullu/Mandi (Drive)
On the final day, enjoy the serene beauty of Kasol before a drive to Bhuntar, Kullu, or Mandi. Bid farewell to the mountains as you conclude your journey through the Beas and Parbati Valleys.
